Fiona is the name that came with the truck! When I found her up in Ojai, the previous owner told me about how her family purchased the truck in 2007 from a woman who had the truck out in Colorado. The Colorado woman named the truck Fiona when she first found her (a nod to Shrek from the bright green color) and the name has been with her ever since!

Fiona is a West Coast gal who was taken care of for decades by the most loving families. I got extremely lucky finding her in the shape she’s currently in. The previous owners replaced the engine and transmission in addition to pouring a whole lot of love into her. Plus, being a West Coast truck, there’s minimal rust due to the lack of moisture in the air. That’s why there are so many beautiful old cars out here in California!
